We follow the directions for refilling and cleaning the filter and have not experienced any of the negative comments made by earlier users. My only complaint is that there is a big gap in the output for this unit and the next size up since the 4 gallon model has been discontinued.

This humidifier has worked well for me so far. I can definitely feel the humidity in the room when I use it and it hasn’t leaked on me once yet. I’d say be careful about how you place the top on after filling it. If it’s not properly aligned that might cause leaking while it’s running. It’s the only humidifier that I’ve had so I don’t really have anything to compare it to but for the past month it’s gotten the job done and I’m sleeping much better.

Easy to fill

Weekly cleanings are fine–could probably even go longer
The machine doesn’t seem to get very dirty–recirculating water keeps deposits from forming
Humidifies the air well
Quiet operation (just the sound of the fan)
Long filter life
Cons:
Can’t really think of any other than I can’t buy the filters locally
I highly recommend this product!
